Are You Having a High Fat Meal After Running?

The way our bodies work and the way it breaks down, when we absorb nutrients, carbs are the first source of energy that we turn to. Fatty foods like peanut butter or cheese can cause GI distress because they're slower digesting than carbs. But a high fat diet does not actually hurt or promote performance either way. For me, I try to make sure I have a fat, a serving of fat and chill.
