Rich Blaygrove is a lecturer in physiology at Loughborough University. His PhD looked into the effects of strength training on post-pubertile adolescent age group with runners. For about 10 years there he worked more in a strength and conditioning coaching capacity with runners from recreational level right through to elite including some that made Olympic finals.
