Can We Adapt Our Feet to Run a Hundred Mile Race?

Many ultra marathons, if not most, are in the mountains and on very rocky terrain and trails. I really doubt anybody is going to make a serious attempt at going barefoot for a hundred mile race in the mountain trails. And I wouldn't dream of going barefoot in the Copper canes. The rocks there are just, they're like the sharpest rocks on the planet. Um, but obviously one of the big problems with ultra running is that you get his fatigue and, you know, um, you know,. you know, humans evolved to run. It says abnormal standing on one line and going as fast as you possibly can to another line that's 26.2 miles
