The Role of Neck Strength in Concussion Prevention
There's going to be a percentage of these types of injuries, no matter what you do. With the rate of force development side of things, we probably need to look at how we can train that. Traditional wrestlers have built up to doing stuff and they can tolerate some pretty large neck loads. But I think there's value across all contact sports to get some pretty solid necks on you. And it's certainly down the path of helping at least the higher rate of exposing yourself to concussions.
