How to Use Genetics to Do Causal Inference for Effective Parents on Offspring

I could talk about my work on genetic nature in direct effects. This is a good topic to prove that genetics is useful, even if you're just actually interested in the family environment. One thing that I'm working on now is using multi-generation genetic model. So part of the genetic signal you pick up for educational attainment looks like it's been driven by the genes and the parents affecting the offspring through this sort of environment that your parents provide for you. And I'm extending this to take again, take advantage of randomization of genetic material from the grandparents to the parents. so you can essentially use it to do causal inference for an effective parents on offspring.
