I do put cash trades on. But not very frequently and mainly in areas where that isn't a good option spot. Italian bonds, whether you think of their outright or versus a spread to Germany, seem to be a little bit expensive. If we have credit concerns and pretty sweet issues spread through Europe and people start being nervous about credit quality could those spreads widen out? Yes. Options take advantage of carry too.
