If all you just did was like, when you go into a negotiation and be like, Hey, what are you hoping for here? You are now like 80%, you're in the top 20% of all negotiators ever. So big thing is just to ask them, let them tell you. Sometimes they don't want to tell you because they don't feel like you're in a trusting collaborative relationship. Say, hey, just for example, here's what I really want out of this deal. Here's what here's what matters to me here.
