Ogi ogi ogi shout that you get a great North run and everyone joined in. I associate that with being Welsh by the way when we do yeah. The chant originates from Cornwall where tin miners wives would shout it to deliver pasties known as ogies for their husbands. In the 1970s, Welsh folk singer and comedian Mac voice used the chant to drum up crowd excitement at performances.
