Will power is not going to save us. What mattered for our success was the ability to be a little bit list as opposed to selfish, that is, to co operate with others,. Those are the traits that allowed us to be good partners and valuable partners to other people. We're relying on these weaker tools via will power which research es shown are pretty fragile. And individuals who are selfless, who have the ability to control their desires for immediate gratification do well in the long run.
