Self compassion is about trying to figure out what are those things that are important to you. When we feel like something is not enough, the inner critic comes in and says, well, what about this? Or what about that? And before we know it again, we're lost in that rumination and we're seeking that perfection. We need to get into the habit then of actually tuning into our own internal dialogue.
