retrieval practice is actually asking somebody to remember something as a learning strategy, not as an assessment tool for measuring. The more we can flip the notion of retrieval as a negative and flip that in the class room to retrieval as a positive, makes a huge difference, right? And so you hear, here'sa, i think, a great example. I am now going to remember that king tut was nine, because we had that conversation. It wasn't a test but you asked me to try to remember it.
