The goalposts on success move. What are you trying to accomplish with the rest of your life? Are you immediately going to take that money and plow it into another business? If so, is that next business going to be a better opportunity or worse one than this one? That's what I could not tell them. People in one moment can say this is the thing I'm trying to accomplish for my business. I want a ten million dollar exit. But here's what I can't do. I cannot tell you whether you will actually be satisfied with that outcome. It almost has nothing to do at that point with business anymore, at least for most people.
