The trend is that plants are putting defense chemicals into their seeds. And some of these defense chemicals affect us acutely, causing nausea, vomiting. But if it takes long time for these to accumulate, and perhaps they accumulate more in people who are eating less protein because they think they are doing the right thing with a vegetarian diet. That will be a very difficult thing to actually show clearly in a research study,. especially when no one is looking for it.
