I'm Obsessed With the Actor Too Much
As I get older, I want to disappear more and more into the role. A great thing that I learned from being with the Wooster Group is the technicians were as important as the actors. There was a kind of equality that not only did it take off a certain kind of pressure, but it recognized that made you feel more flexible. Sometimes there are great actors, and they stand out, and you love to watch them do their thing, but they don't integrate into the movie. That's fun, but on some level, I think that becomes very limiting.
