How Long Should You Warm Up for Strength Training?
N. Mitch Sweeney: Can I really get a solid workout in less than an hour if planning to strength train three to four times per week? Mm. Great question. Short answer is yes, absolutely. Second answer is we're going to have to sort of modify what I said regarding the warm ups before because adding the general warm up can obviously add another five, 10, 15, 15. If you're working, if you're warming up for more than 15 minutes, you're doing it wrong. But some people don't have that much time. They've got to get in and out. And especially if you lack mobility, try and add mobility throughout your day.
