Mindfulness Training - What's the Biggest Effect?

Tom Foreman: We don't know much about how the brain works, and now we're talking about modulating it with technology. The first place we thought was, well, if we could temporarily disrupt the habit system, we might help people disruption the habits that are harming them or getting in the way of mindfulness training. In long term meditators, we could deepen their sense of equanimity to almost an extreme degree cases. And those can be in useful ways, or not very good ways. There's a lot of dimensions to the parimeter space.
