The Importance of Perception in an Airline CEO

I think the average traveler probably has a perception of the CEO of an airline as being possibly a little out of touch with many of the people who fly every day. So it was important for me not only to fly and talk to folks, but to do it without a large group of people with me. And that's when you get people at their most human level.
