Heart Rate in Training Is a Really Good Metric

A lot of runners believe like running is my therapy which that's a whole different topic of conversation right but there are definitely mental benefits for running. But if you are so hyper focused on the paces and hitting those exact pace ranges and exact heart rates wouldn't you argue that that would take out some of that joy and some of that stress relief that running you say you get from running? You're forgotten why you started in the first place.
