Aldastron levels can reach up to 20 times higher than normal in heart failure patients. The mineral corticord receptor antagonists often feel very onerous to add on, because they're already on a drug that raises their potassium and then you're adding this other drug that also raises their potassium. But we need to be very forceful to remind ourselves to overcome that inertia, because these are amazing drugs that are really beneficial for our patients.
