Suffering? Is It Possible, Impossible?
I think that we can suffer a lot less than we do and part of it is becoming aware of those wounds that you are describing. We have wounds, we have traumas even intergenerationally that we might not have really realized have come into our family and culture through either environment or epigenetics. And there is just the way our mind works. I think that the negative emotions like sadness and anxiety and anger are not suffering. It's when they get too out of hand and unbalanced and they're not reflecting reality, they're kind of taking on a world of their own. Then that's when we think of it as more of a disorder and that we really want to treat it
