Is There a Hole in Patellar Tendons?
When we took these rat patellar tendons, we put a hole in it. We did transcriptomics and the transcriptomics were almost exactly the same as you would see in human tendonopathy. So what this tells us is that if I have got somebody who is always doing dynamic loading, and I know that if I looked at MRI, I would see signs of degradation or signs of abnormalities within the tendon, within the matrix, what I am going to do is add some isometric exercises. Right now what we are suggesting is this program of four times 30 seconds if you have a known injury. And we find people recover faster after the exercise because it seems to be helpful for both the
