Do Hip Thrusts Fit Into a Strength Program?
Hip thrusts with resistance bands have really changed the way I look at progressive resistance exercises. There are people in professional football coaches who think that the hip thrust is a now a measured tool. If an exercise works because you go faster, you go higher, you go farther, and if this new exercise works, you see it. And if it doesn't, it's not working, stop doing it. We got a question from John: Are heavy banded exercises like hip thrusts a viable way to build strength that translates to deadlifts and back squats?
