I've questioned the meaning of it all relentlessly. Some of the most beautiful contemplations of the universe and meaning and morality that I have ever encountered have come from atheists. They make me wonder sometimes. Am I an atheist? Because it often sounds to me like we're saying the same things. Perhaps they wonder listening to me, am I a believer? When you look up at the night sky and see as Leopold Bloom and Stephen Daedalus do, enjoices Ulysses, a heaven tree of stars hung with humid night blue fruit. So long as you feel a sense of peace, it ultimately comes out the same. Poetry and physics aren't the same thing.
