The best recovery aid for me is a chill strength workout. I find easy, strength-ish stuff to be just a great tool for recovering from that really hard athletic work. Biggest Loser contestants had broken hormonal systems and regained all the weight they lost on the show. You look like a Rocky Balboa bippper four years down the road because you do deep recesses of your brain with crossfit.
