The Most Important Thing Is Consistency
I think this is kind of like the working out thing and probably why you're more of a morning person. If I did that, I found I was more consistent doing this at night. So for example, you could do this while you're taking a shower anyway. You're probably not going to have your phone or anything electronics in there. And so it's a great for me. It really helps solidify the habit of having this five minutes of a spiritual, for me, it's prayer every single day.
