The Effects of Exercise on Muscle Quality

Muscle quality is almost like strength per unit mass. Men and women in their 70s lose about a half a percent per year of muscle mass, but the loss of strength is about one and a half to 2 percent per year. So it's about three times greater than the loss of muscle mass. How much of that do you think might be outside of the muscle and how much do you know what I mean? No, that's a good question.
