There's western therapies that are different but most western therapies Are based on the idea that? Experiences we had when we are very young We're very impactful very important. The adaptations we made to taking care of ourself basically became Internalized and repetitive Processes repetitive experiences that were repeated over and over again about how best I relate to others. And so a lot of western therapy could be understood as bringing our sense of self into a more current adult Sort of accurate way of experiencing.
