The way you start thinking about it is really understanding who your customer is. You probably have customer or listener or reader personas already. So an example I like to give is let's say you run a shoe store. You want people to find it. But obviously there's a lot of competitors. How are you going to compete with them? Well, ultimately you're not going to compete directly with them. You're going to think about what can you offer your customer.
