Adam Sobel: I would change the word from addictive to obsessive. And maybe that's even got some borderline. He says he has been able to say, okay, it's not addictive. It's obsessive. Now, that being said, there are some things where genes play a more relevant role. For example, in the lane of mental health, there are certain disorders like schizophrenia or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder,. bipolar disorder. These are more neurobiological disorders, which means they start in your brain and they have a stronger sort of genetic component than some other disorders.
