Mindfulness to Manage Cravings
Research has found that urges are a lot an ocean wave. Cravings tend to start off small and then go up a bit, but they eventually crest and soon come back down - usually in as little as 15 to 20 minutes. Mindfulness can help us stop wanting what we don't really like. But mindfully noticing the present moment can help us with the brains second problem too, that we can't always want what we like.
