The History of Coffee

The word coffee comes from the Arab word ahoa. The botanical name of the original species discovered in Africa whose beans are grown around the world today is coffee arabica. In America, coffee wins hands down as the most popular substance containing caffeine with soft drinks, tea and chocolate as runners up.
