How to Finish a Stroke Early

The ideal pattern of the pole is that once your hand, once you start that pull backward, you should be accelerating the hand all the way past the to the finish of the stroke. So where I normally would say the stroke finishes is if you're wearing just a normal pair of speedos that your thumb would hit kind of just below that hip cut out the hole at the top of the leg. But if you kind of finished an exit just before your arm hits that full extension that tends to be the ideal. You don't want to go until your elbows dead straight because then you got nowhere to go and your arms will stop hands going to stop anyhow.
