Mindful Breathing Can Help You Relieve Stress

Researchers at the technical university of munich and german put this to the test by showing students some horrible pictures. They found that people who focused on their breath didn't have a strong of a negative reaction to them. Part of the brain that processes emotions in response to threats, the amigula, was connecting to another part of the brain when they were breathing mindfully.
