Obesity Rates Continue to Increase

Rates of obesity are continuing to increase. Rates of severe obesity have doubled from 4.7 to 9.2%. Diabetes is now around 15% or so population, which is substantial. Medical costs increasing in 2019 cost attributable to obesity and complications were estimated around $170 billion.
