The Blind Spot for Age Segregation
I think if we zoom out right now, most things they use every day are de facto magic. For thousands of years, we used wood and trees and we didn't know how they worked. So we have evidence that we're comfortable using things that we don't understand. I love this one too, is when you're young, have friends who are older and when you're old, a friend who are younger. And I have a different thing I wrote about this, about how our society has a blind spot for age segregation. It seems like society is all the kids are hanging together. The only time you meet people is when in your own family or a group,. That feels bad.
