CHAPTER

The Difference Between Marx and Freer's Humanism

The main criteria that he's talking about is the conscious act of objectifying the world around them right. For Freer his understanding of humanity I think is a lot more fleshed out in a way that carries more baggage so on the one hand there is that objectification of the world around us but there's also a consciousness of time that he talks about and a consciousness of intention and action that go above and beyond Marx. The critique itself or the differences between phenominesisares humanism and Freer's might not have a huge impact on its face but downstream philosophical concerns are certainly warranted.
