How to Deal With the Biased Coworker

The need to work for a tormentor is less than perhaps they were even pre-pandemic. Organizations aren't tolerating them as much as they used to and people have options. Sometimes these behaviors or microaggressions as we call them are unintentional but can be incredibly harmful. One of my favorite tactics is to just ask a question. Say, oh, what did you mean by that? Just sit back and wait. Did you hear what you said? It's not your job to do that, but it is an opportunity for you to speak up about something that will hopefully improve the work environment for you and for others.
