Kant is quite emphatic that what he's proposing here is not the golden rule. We have some basic moral responsibilities, obligations we wher does you say they come from? You we sone basic moral responsibilities. Iam doing unto others as i would have them do unto me. But camp thinks it's just obvious that if some one is in need, drowning in front of you, it's no excuse to say, well, i wouldn't accept any help if i were drowning so therefore i don't have to offer you any help. Is that a right? Ye. John. Pine, right.
