The Importance of Mindfulness Meditation
It took me about a year and a half or two to get there because our first understanding of mindfulness meditation was essentially akin to relaxation training. We thought that it was something which you teach people to do for themselves and they are able to take it on board. It was only when I started to run my own groups that I realized how bereft I was in terms of either understanding it or being able to convey the important elements of it to other people. That was the motivator for me. And then I started practice.
