The Gentiles Are Included in the Covenant by Faith

Gentiles, according to paul, have become included in the covenant because he says they pursued covenant status by faith. But that israel who pursued a law that would lead to righteousness did not succeed in reaching that law. Why? Because they did not pursue it by faith, but as if it were based on works. They have stumbled over the stumbling stone. And all this leaves the gentiles in the same position as abraham and isaac and jacob.
