Is There a Synthesis in Keegan Stage 5?
Robert Keegan has a theory that there's not just we don't stop developing in our childhood that we continue developing throughout our adulthood and you go from basically socialized self to fundamental principles and values. Some people get very internally focused on their body and their feelings and feeling good and just being this and some people at Keegan Stage 5 go the other direction they get very externally focused, he says.
