The Importance of Empathy and Understanding
Even if you had your wakeup call, you still have to eradicate the patterns of behavior. Some of those run pretty deep, especially if there's abuse or emotional trauma and childhood. So what we found is that becomes the core work that people need to do as leaders. If they want to connect more with their employees than they've got to understand themselves at a very deep level.
