How Do You Ask for Business Without Being?

Marketing is something you feel uncomfortable about, so practise it in front of the mirror. Don't try and puff yourself up with people - at least for me, that never works. You have to tell your narrative in terms of kind of helping them and how you can help them. When you're talking to somebody they don't really want to hear how you can buy a new car or solve a problem. So i think part of it is rehearsing it, just getting the words over your lips. And there's a million blogs and web sites about how to sell yourself. There are some good tips out there... Kind of connect with your message once, make everything positive.
