Overcoming Isometrics in Season

In the off season you'll want to do something that's just a little more taxing in some way. I don't know if i've heard a coach specifically talk about that before, but here here's my initial thought. The overcoming stuff allows us to still strengthen the tendons, still maintain muscular strength,. But it's not as fatiguing in the long term as a dynamic strength exercise or going through the full range of motion with it. Whereas now that we're in season, i want to take as much stress off the athlete and as much soreness off of em then. And i want to maintain those different points along the the range motion eas perfect.
