Calcium and Bone Health

We lose calcium in our sweat. Calcium, is that important for bone health? And yeah, can you talk about that? Yeah. I mean, it's what we talk about as a nutrient availability issue. That can include obviously vitamin D, things like calcium. So definitely for the athlete recovering from a bone injury, they need to be very, very mindful of their calcium intake. For the athlete looking to prevent an injury, it's the same principle. All the nutrients need to be available for bone. But yes, there'll be athletes that would do well to have some supplementation. It's just hard to get it in through a food intake route.
