Tone and Phonation Relativity

In some Koysan languages, like Sun Pops, there's a voicing type which in fact it's not your vocal cords, but your epiglottis that is vibrating. This explains why people who speak these languages get nodules on their vocal cords by the time they're adults. There are other kinds of phonation types. These are the main ones. So let's just leave those there and we can talk about them a little bit more after we've touched tone.
