On and Off Ramps - Is That the Shift You're Trying to Get People to Make?

Slack's teams think of themselves as adding features to a product, instead of stewards of a place where people work. We said this thing in the book called services created in silos or experienced in bits. And I actually think silos are quite useful because that's where communities of practice live and so forth. But they need to be porous. You need to be able to connect with other people and talk to them. Anything that kind of gets in the way of that is a good indicator. you need to address it. The right venue for that is probably the pub.
