Sally Kohn: Why do we keep doing this with fooling ourselves again? I think it goes back to that desire that desire. And if we stick with these maxims, you know, these superstitions, they're really just superstitions. It's like throwing salt over your shoulder to keep bad spirits away. We have no evidence that bad spirits exist, but why risk it? That feels like the answer you get. But when you've got so many companies who were actually not bothering whatsoever, isn't it just a little bit kind of comforting to get them started at all?
