The Power of Voting in India
The Indian elections are one of the largest exercises in democracy in the world. With 814 million registered to vote, this year we'll see more people vote in India than in the last six US elections combined. The number of parties contesting elections has rocketed over the past few decades. And the five years since the last parliamentary election have seen India's electoral role increased by over 100 million.
