The Danger Is Always Going to Be, as Orchestras Become More and More Virtuosica

As orchestras become more virtuosica, the danger is always going to be that they want to outflash each other. Already i feel that orchestras have begun to sound more ad more alike. Maybe the period instrument is, for for a time at least, the way to go. I loved its musical honesty. You can be as virtuos as you like, but you people will smell it a mile off. And i think that honesty is wonderful.
